It is extremely hard to source due to being so hard to find.
The original vein was mined out in 2006. It is found in the Analalava district of the Sofia region in the former province of Mahajanga.
There are two different deposits - Moravato and Kabamby.
Moravato has a total of 8 veins , some of which are no longer mined and the pieces from these claims are more of a Orb pattern.
The Kabamby claim is mined more today and produces more wavy banded pieces than the orb variety of the previous veins.
